There was a party at my friend’s house in the Castro. My friend is a well funded artist who expresses himself with taxidermy, home decor, and good parties. While never at the center of things, each party has professional photoshoot equipment set up, watched over by an iPad on a tripod. Placed suggestively- but unobtrusively - nearby are samples from his wig collection, of which I have never seen a repeat wig.

Knowing this, I prepared my Holga with 800 ISO film. Yep, analog. I usually use 400 ISO. But for this "well-lit nighttime situation," the Internet told me that 800 ISO would be suitable. A higher ISO increases the film's sensitivity to light. On top of that, I planned on using a repertoire of colored flashes, double exposures, and Bulb mode.
